16 DOG MOCK NOVICE TRIAL DUKESFIELD, SLALEY, NORTHUMBERLAND

We held our first Novice Mock Trial (held under field trial lines) at Slaley, Northumberland by very kind permission of Mr John Welch and the Dukesfield Shooting Syndicate. The syndicate provided some excellent guns who shot brilliantly and also the beaters who did a brilliant job.
Sincere thanks to our judges Mr John Lees, Mr Gordon White, Mr Ian Palmer and Miss Julia Johnston for giving their time freely to judge and advise competitors.
Sincere thanks to committee member Joanne Wilson for organising the event for the benefit of our members and also to Jeff Smart our Working Test Secretary for shooting at the event and helping with the day.
Massive thanks to everyone organising the day (including the judges) and the helpers all of whom travelled at their own cost, some distance to ensure we provided this event for members and non members. Without their assistance the event would not go ahead and their commitment to our sport should be commended and applauded by All lucky enough to take part.
