During our two shows in 2013 we wanted to celebrate our very prestigious 90th Anniversary in style and we think we did! We were proud to kick start our celebrations in February with our Open Show; awarding special rosettes and prize cards, having a birthday cake made and holding an excellent raffle to share our celebrations with friends in the dog showing family.
In October we welcomed a record number of entrants to our Championship Show on the 5th October at our wonderful new venue of Kirkley Hall, Northumberland. The day was a great success and our committee pulled out the stops to provide competitors and spectators with a show to remember.
Guests were welcomed with complimentary hand made Labrador biscuits; committee members dressed in costume from the 1920's to serve everyone with bubbly and snacks; we made a commemorative tree with the CC winners from each year since the clubs beginnings and presented beautiful historic prize cards and rosettes to celebrate this landmark anniversary.
